The Texas Space Grant Consortium's Board of Directors is responsible for overall policy and guidance as well as performing an overview function for program activities. Board members are selected to provide a balanced representation of the interests of the members. The Board of Directors consists of: the Chair of the Board, the Director, three Associate Directors, three representatives from the Academic Affiliates (one from a minority institution), three representatives from the commercial/non-profit organizations, a representative from the Texas Aerospace Commission, and a representative from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
