This year's 7th Annual Safety Seminar was a great success! The MBA would like to thank all of you for your support. All of the speakers did a wonderfull job with their presentations, and as usual Dave kept everyone on task. It was a great treat to have Ed Yost available to speak to the group. Brad Temeyer from Sioux Falls has provided a copy of his presentation available for downloading at the link provided.

MONTHLY MEETING VIA SPEAKER PHONE The monthly meetings are currently being held in two locations. The main meeting is held at the Rochester Public Utilities in Rochester. See the events page for the latest date and a map to their location. In Minneapolis the meetings are held at either Kim Dickey's or Glen Terry's home. The two locations are joined via speaker phone. Come join us! MBA ELECTION MEETING needs a date and location. February is usually the month we hold elections. Let Sam know where you would like to hold the elections this year. The MBA is a statewide organization. The intent has always been to have involvement from all areas of Minnesota. This will be a great opportunity for balloonists through out the state to voice their opinion.
FROM THE TREASURER
I'd like to thank everyone who renewed or became a member of the MBA this past month. Our membership has now reached over 50 members as of August 1, 2005. The MBA does depend on it's members for financial support. The Safety Seminar also came in on buget this year with 68 attendees. Safety Seminar was a success!
The 6th Annual MBA Safety Seminar was a success with 68 participants in attendance. Speakers included George Hahn, Wynn Gustafson, Walt Devoe, Gordon Schwontkowski, Bert Padelt and Bill Zangs.
Thanks Dave Johnson and the Safety Seminar Committee for a great job! Next years seminar will be held on April 1, 2006.
